just announced - a particularly special concert at acht brücken festival for me this year with my new ensemble - trio phanos! featuring tianwa yang (stunning violinist - opus klassik's "instrumentalistin des jahres" 2022) and oren shevlin (amazing principal cellist of the wdr sinfonieorchester) and i, we will be traversing the whole gamut of the piano trio repertoire, but start our journey off with "ins licht" a programme with some incredibly intense repertoire by dieter ammann, kaiji saariaho, georg friedrich haas and a very exciting new premiere by marina khorkova may 13th, wdr funkhaus, cologne ..can't wait! ::

just conducted the first rehearsals of great pieces by yu kuwabara and katherine balch at the kkl in luzern for the lucerne festival forward! thrilled to be here this week as assistant conductor to mariano chiacchiarini in this fascinating programme featuring the lucerne festival contemporary orchestra and violinist patricia kopatchinskaya - concert this saturday nov 16 at 18.30 uhr! ::

what a week - starting off with a visit to hamburg, where something very exciting is happening next season, then working with my wonderful students at the hochschule für musik und tanz köln, then the release of my solo cd "toccare" on friday, which has just been named "contemporary cd of the week" by france musique (you can hear a feature about it today - link in bio)! now off to paris to celebrate the release of the cd with a concert on wednesday, where i look forward to sharing this great programme again with you all ::
